The Swinburne MIntA program is the first and only accounting program that is accredited by the Australian Society of Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA Australia), in Vietnam. The program will qualify its graduates for membership of CPA Australia - Australia''s largest professional accounting body and one of the largest ones in the world.
In Australia, Swinburne has been a major provider of accounting education and training for over 40 years and is widely recognized as one of the most innovative and practical accounting providers in the country.
The MIntA program has been specially designed to develop and enhance participants'' accounting knowledge and skills for accounting and related disciplines. In Vietnam, the program has been adapted to the local context, and offers participants the opportunity to become ''internationally recognized'' accounting professionals.
THE PROGRAMME
The Program is conducted on a part-time basis and can be completed in 3 years. By using a team-teaching approach, pairing the NEU Business School with SUT School of Business staff, participants are exposed to international teaching methodologies and Vietnamese management and market knowledge.
The program is organized into three stages. The MIntA program consists of 12 subjects; each subject is conducted over a 7-week period, four subjects a year. Each subject combines lectures delivered by SUT staff and tutorials delivered by NEU staff. All subjects are taught in Vietnam and delivered in the English language. Upon successful completion of each stage of the program, a Swinburne University award can be granted should a participant choose to exit at that point. |
